Avalon Beach SLSC upgrade targeted for second time
Dee Why Police are appealing to the public for information after construction equipment at the Avalon Beach SLSC was vandalized for a second time sometime between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
An air compressor was significantly damaged after it’s diesel fuel was replaced with water.
The previous attack on the Surf life-saving club saw an excavator worth more than $200,000 destroyed after it’s cabin window was smashed and a fire lot.
The $2.9 million upgrade of the dated building will include new a new café and upgraded facilities including new meeting rooms and improved dune management.
